It’s been a while, but I’m back and better than ever! I can’t believe it’s the end of the semester and I am about to graduate college! Going through my wardrobe and packing up some stuff, I came across this oversized button down that I bought at Jomar and have never worn. I decided to wear it today because the weather was perfect for it. Button downs are usually cotton, which is the perfect fabric for humid, spring days. They keep you warm, while also being breathable and keeping you dry. This shirt almost touches my knees when it’s untied! I was actually going to wear it like a cardigan, but I got the bright idea to tie it. My style is all about comfort, and this is by far one of the most comfortable outfits I’ve worn in a while, not to mention it was so easy to throw on. I styled it with a faux leather jacket to add some sheen and ripped high waisted jeans for texture and edge. I kept it simple and wore my shell top Adidas because I liked the contrast of the white shoe with black stripes and it complements my shirt very well. The most exciting part about this look is that this shirt was only $5.99! It is an easy find at any thrift store and there are so many ways for it to be styled. The classic black and white combo is also a perfect opportunity to introduce a bold statement color.
