Crazy About Creating Content

As you can tell by the title, I have become a little crazy about creating content. When I first started my blog, it was a hobby and I wanted to share with everyone how you can be stylish with an affordable wardrobe, especially while in college. It wasn’t until last year when I began to get extremely serious about my blog and the content I was producing. Being a graduate student majoring in fashion marketing also revealed that creating content is something that I am passionate about and led me to want to make a career out of it. I have always been a creative person, but seeing how creativity can blend with business and marketing to develop a brand is what, quite literally, keeps me up at night.

I have not only been focusing on my blog, but the content I post on social media and how I can use that to market my brand and my blog. My design background has made me a perfectionist when it comes to cohesiveness and quality, rather than quantity. In fact, I solely focus on aesthetics and the messages I write, rather than the amount of likes I receive. I recently watched a Youtube video by one of my favorite Influencers, Jade Kendle, where she spoke about how people are putting out “trash” content just for the sake of popularity and it spoke volumes to me. If I am creating authentic content with an authentic vision, I will gain an authentic following. I stopped getting upset with myself for not blogging as much as I would like at times or on a certain schedule because I never want to b.s anything. However, if it is not my best work, I do not want it published.

Branding yourself as a Content Creator is a process and it is important to find something that keeps pushing you forward. I have a vision and a dream and I know I can make it come true with hard work. Thank you all for supporting me thus far. I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for us!
